Let's talk about sports. Only 1 of my teams won this week. The Texas Longhorns, which is expected, but they did not look too good in the first half against Wyoming. Hopefully they can get on track because Texas Tech always plays them tough and that is their next opponent. The Tennessee Volunteers lost to a measly UCLA team. I blame one person for the loss and that is Jonathan Crompton (Crapton). Everyone thought he had turned it around after throwing 5 TDs against a high school like Western Kentucky team, and he didn't dissapoint. Reverting back to his old ways he threw interception after interception. He has some good weapons this year, but just can't seem to throw the ball to the people wearing the same jersey as he is. This is a big problem and I hope he figures something out because Florida is on the slate next week and there's a possibility they win by 100 against us. Lastly, the Houston Texans had the worst game in the history of the franchise. This is supposed to be the year the Texans turn it all around and make a run at the playoffs, but they could not beat the New York Jets and their rookie QB. Sanchez looked like pro-bowl QB and made some great throws. I'm not saying he's going to make the pro-bowl, but he did not look like ur average rookie out there. Kubiak better get his team together or else he's going to be out of a job sooner than later.
Poker wise, I have had my best week in a long long time. I moved up to the 2/4 an
d 3/6 cap games. I've also mixed in some 2/4 6max no cap as well. The cap games help me to control variance in a monetary aspect because sometimes the big swings take a toll on me. I've also been running real well, and have noticed that there are tons of fish at these games who are playing over 60% of the pots consistently. I've continued to isolate them, and it amazes me to see how bad some of these players are. I know they aren't tilting because the same thing happens day after day, but I'm not complaining. The graph to the right is the past 7 days. I really miss playing live games, so I'm thinking about making a week trip to Vegas and just doing some long hours at the table. It's always good to mix it up a little bit because staring at a computer screen can drive you a little insane.Tourney wise, I played miniFTOPS event #1 and made a decent run. Got 275/16000+, but I made a dumb move late in the tourney. I was 6/400 at one point and took 2 bad beats in a row and let my emotion take over. I tried to re-steal on a player with A3 and he woke up with AA. This crippled me and I was out 1 orbit later. I guess you learn from your mistakes and I plan on playing some more events this week. Here is my bad beat of the month so far, and this has happend to me 3 times this month as well. Poker is always fun. Lastly, tell me if u like the new color, I had a couple people tell me the font was hurting their eyes, so I randomly started clicking new colors till something looked decent and not girly. GG.
