So, I got the job. My official title is a performance management analyst. Basically they said I am an inside consultant for the company. Seems like I will get lots of good experience and I have an excellent chance to progress through the corporate ranks. The company wants me to move to Germantown, MD and I am in the process of looking for a place to live. It really sucks because rent is so high and a roommate would really help the financial burden. As for now, they have me stationed here in Jacksonville for a month. I go to the Naval Air Station everyday and learn how they run their warehouse and distribution operation. It's pretty cool seeing all the planes and everything, but it sucks being by myself in a city like Jacksonville and living out of a hotel. It will be nice when my gf comes down here for a couple days and we should be able to get a hotel on the beach as well. One good thing is that there is a poker room down the street, but Florida rules blow and the max buy in is 100.
In sports, the Texas Longhorns are looking stronger than ever and the Tennessee Vols are going to be a force to reckon with next year. The Alabama game was a heartbreaker, but we got the #1 kicker coming in and we can all say bye bye to Daniel 'donk' Lincoln. Texas put a beating on Oklahoma State today and should bump past Alabama to #2 in the rankings. My prediction is a Florida-Texas National Championship, Colt McCoy gets the Heisman due to his recent increase in numbers and Texas wins on the last drive of the game. Hopefully, all that happens.
On for poker. I was on pace for a huge huge month until a downswing hit me 2/3rd of the way through. Luckily I was able to grind out some hands and get it back plus some more.
Still an improvement from last month and hopefully I can continue the winning ways. This month was a profit of $12,700 which was a little more than last month and it always feels good to continue up the ladder. Live wise I've played 2 days here in Jacksonville and I'm up around $800 playing 2/5NL with a $100 max buy in. LOL. I play my first 3 buyins like a rebuy tourney, just shoving everything in order to get a decent stack. Once you get the stack in this game the rest is cakewalk. People are very passive and terrible and they all think they are pros. Giving you advice and life teachings. Sometimes I just want to tell people off but I'd rather just continue the small talk and appease them. Here is the biggest hand of the month. GG. Shipshape.

watching the food channel religiously and got somewhat inspired to be the next Bobby Flay. I decided to try and make some of his green chili burgers so I drove over to the local food city and bought green chili's, jalapeno peppers and habanero peppers to mix into the burgers. I come home very excited and pull out our dull knives along with the cutting board. I start chopping up all the chili's chef style then go about to wash my hands. Mistake #1. I then go about my business and decided to take a piss. Mistake #2. Holy #$%*. Literally, 5 minutes later, my junk is on fire. I can't even explain the pain. It feels as if someone lit a bonfire in my pants. The pain is unbearable for 3 hours!! I start googling remedies and the first thing I find is that when cutting peppers you have to wash the area with bleach because of the high concentration of capisicum or something. GG me. I finally find a remedy that tells me you need to use vegetable oil. I go on to put my junk in vegetable oil for 20 minutes then take a freezing cold shower for 1 hour. After this long shower, vegetable oil and half a bottle of body wash the fire is gone. The feeling after is undescribable. It felt so good and I felt so relieved. I had the biggest smile on my face and decided that it would be the perfect time to start grinding. The session was one of my best recently and I went on to win 8 buyins along with clearing my $275 mid year iron man bonus. Great day for the bankroll, but I am not sure the pain was worth it. The burgers were also some of the best I've ever had. Thanks Bobby Flay.
